I am a retired military serviceman, have owned many houses, have used many contractors in the home upgrade/repair process., This company rated among the top. The advice and acquisition of the material, the scheduling and responsiveness thereto, the work ethic, and professionalism all resulted in an excellent product...this was the second time we have used this company. Everyone who has seen our floor comments on its beauty. We intend to use them again as we continue our remodeling.
The second job was to transform existing carpet covered stairs with wood that would match wood flooring previously installed. This involved consultation, recommendation, final plan on materials, schedule and work start. The process was completely explained highlighting possible problem areas once dis-assembly was started. The work was planned so as to create the minimum disruption to our traffic pattern.
The work involved removal of the existing carpet, preparation of the under-lying surface involving removal of an inordinate number of staples used in anchoring the carpets , tailoring of the individual risers and steps to the existing surfaces, shaping each step with a bull nose shape to provide easy stepping, coating the steps first with a solvent solution to bring out the beautiful grain of the wood he had selected and applying the final coat to bring the full beauty and sheen of the wood, this included application of an anti-slip compound, base coating of associated baseboards and final installation of same.. All of this work was completed using a full range of professional equipment,. with a continual attention to daily work area clean-up and debris disposal. The whole experience for me as a home owner was outstanding because of this company's professionalism, construction ethics , and attention to schedule, performance, and cost. This is my third contract with this company and will certainly select it again when we continue the wood flooring of another part of our house.

Removal of existing tile and engineered wood floor, then placement of sold wood flooring - 930 square feet, and installment of wood baseboards.
Chad was wonderful. He spent a great deal of time in the beginning answering all of our questions and giving us different estimates for different possibilities. He had great resources for us to use to get quality wood and gave great advise on was worth the extra money and what was not. Once we booked the job Chad started the day we agreed. Chad worked every weekday without fail. He always cleaned up at the end of the day and tried to make the least possible impact on our lives (not easy given the large amount of the house we had to tear out). The job was finished on time and the final floor looks GREAT. We could not be happier. There was one problem that was created by the new dishwasher not fitting in the existing hole. Chad stepped up, cut a hole in out counter top and created a BEAUTIFUL butcher block to go over the dishwasher. We could not believe how willing Chad was to do extra work to get the job done. I would recommend Chad to anyone that wants a new hardwood floor - he is a true craftsman, not something you see very often these days.
